CMC-Asia and CMC-Europe are founded by Mijnd Huijser, a Dutch philosopher and cultural anthropologist, who has been working as a cross-cultural consultant and trainer since 1993.
He reconciled the work of the renowned culture gurus Geert Hofstede and Fons Trompenaars and translated their academic research into a practical tool, based on his experiences with professionals in international organizations. This tool, the Model of Freedom enables a concise identification and interpretation of culture-related behaviour.

In 2006 his daughter Danaë Huijser, an organisational psychologist, joined CMC-Europe.
One year later Mijnd established CMC-Asia. Based in Thailand, Mijnd Huijser now concentrates on web-based services and training-the-trainers.

CMC-Europe and CMC-Asia dispose of a network of consultants, trainers and coaches. They are certified in working with the Model of Freedom, which is at the core of all CMC-services.
